Character: Ivan Karelin (“Origami Cyclone”)
Series: Tiger & Bunny
Character Age: Late teens

Canon: Welcome to Stern Bild, the city where superheroes watch over the civilians and the civilians watch the superheroes! Hero TV is a huge hit here; it’s a reality television show that captures the heroes’ finest moments in real time. Points are awarded based on flashy entrances, civilians saved, criminals apprehended, and all sorts of exciting feats. These heroes are known as NEXT, humans born with special abilities which they have chosen to use to help the greater good. But let’s not forget the ones who made the hero business possible: corporate sponsorship! That’s right, these heroes’ suits are plastered with logos such as Pepsi NEXT, Bandai, and .ANIME, as another one of their roles is to promote their respective companies.

And there is no one better at the latter task than Origami Cyclone, a hero whose design is based off of a Japanese ninja. Despite being the lowest ranking hero for a while, he is very skilled at sneaking into shots of the other heroes for some extra sponsor screen time. He takes his job seriously, all aspects of it, and that includes putting on an appealing face for the camera. He speaks politely and tries his best to be enthusiastic even though he's rather nervous by nature. Even when feeling down or intimidated, he's outgoing and charismatic whenever in public eye. The truth is that he is prone to feeling insecure about himself. Because his power only allows him to change his form to that of other people, he used to think of it as something useless and doubted his own capability to be of any help. He worries about his ability to carry out his duties, but he may be more determined than anyone. When the need arises, he gives his all and has no problems putting himself in harm’s way to protect someone. As far as heart and courage go, he certainly has them, and he is moving forward while accepting his powers. He has vowed to take action toward becoming more of an ideal hero, and his rank is slowly climbing as proof of that!

NOTE: One of Origami's trademarks is his ninja star throwing sound effect, "Shu, shu, shu!"

Ahh, is this the place? They said to meet at the cornfield, but it goes on for miles and every patch looks the same. Without anything to mark the location, how am I supposed to tell where I'm supposed to be? Oh, it does look like there are some people gathered over there, but is that really the aspiring group of NEXT I'm supposed to be guiding? Not to disrespect, but I cannot help but think it looks more like the sick ward... And it is hard to tell one apart from another. In fact, it looks to me like that leg belongs to that other. Was it possible for so many people to share the same power? Now that I think about it, I don't see any cameras. Sh-Should I wait for them? I did go through all the trouble of polishing these logos...

No, no! It is a hero's duty to be a hero, on and off screen! I don't want to disappoint the sponsors, but I can't let down those who have been so patiently waiting for my arrival, either. When I submit my formal apology, I am certain they will come to understand the circumstances. First things first, I will go ahead and give this my best! But worry not, my sponsors! I’ll make sure to show these emblems off as well!

If I could have everyone’s attention! I, Origami Cyclone, wish to thank you all for your attendance today! I have traversed a great distance to be with you all, but seeing those shining faces is what makes it all worthwhile! Um... Perhaps "shining" is not quite the correct word to use in such a time as this. That is, seeing everyone's faces that are trying so hard makes me wish to try my hardest as well! I can still recall a time when I was in the position you all are now. Heroes in training are just as important as the heroes that are around today. No, perhaps they are more important! After all, the past of the future is the present, and the present is a gift... I think I'm confusing myself, here. But anyway-

Most importantly! We need to remember that these abilities were given to us for a reason. Even if your special talent is to remove your arms, that means you can lend a hand to others from a greater distance, right? There has to be something that only each one of you can do! Your abilities exist for a purpose, and it's up to you to put that purpose into action. Our strengths can touch the hearts of people! Our powers can help mankind! Our popularity can boost the sales of our sponsors! Now, however great or small you wish to make your impact, go forth and touch the life of another! I won't ask you to give up life and limb for it- mostly because many of you don't seem to have them to give, but... I believe in all of you!!

E- Ehh? My most sincere apologies, but I did not mean to "touch" in a physical sense, and as I have just recently cleansed this wardrobe, it would be most preferable if you could all express your gratitude from a slightly further distance...! I am very flattered that you all appreciated my words, but please! Shoo, shoo! Shoo!
