Rory has succumbed at last. He has begun building a Magic deck. He's even bought cards for it. As I suspected, he's already proving worryingly good at it. Mind you, my little goblin gardening deck isn't too bad itself...

Yay! More for the affliction! What kind of deck is he building?

A 1/1 creature resurrecting deck built around 'Shirea, Shizo's Caretaker' (not sure if I spelt that right) from one of the Kamigawa sets - it returns 1/1s from your graveyard at end of turn. Many of the 1/1s he's using are goblins tho - woo! more goblins :) He's also threatening a smug white deck cos we got a Blazing Archon randomly in one of the boosters.

there were pictures of you on the wall at the rocksoc ball...one looked to be sort of gypsyish costume with flowery body paint but I can't remember the other one and I forgot if you were on the other wall too.

wow! that costume with the body paint was from Halloween 1998 or something ridiculously old like that... no idea people still had those pictures :)

yeah, I did think it looked like an old picture, I'm sure the other one was more recent.

I nearly didn't recognise it, I was kinda unsure it was really you except I recognised that fancy indian style metal bracelet you had that covers your whole hand.

There was also last years halloween ball costumes with you as Delerium, plus myself (Dream), Sarah (Dawn), Ben (Austin Powers) and I'm sure there was someone else that's slipped my mind for the minute. Taken just before we all headed in.

Oh, and with Rory's magic deck, just wait until he does the Shirei-1/x spirits-devouring greed deck (same general style as one of my decks designed as a budget deck, but still effective)
