Most of today has been spent cultivating a little bit of a green thumb. I'm slightly amused--while others have spent their incipient days of freedom (or "freedom") doing things exciting, I've just been developing domestically.

In terms tangentially related, I feel too old, but still too green for all of this.

I think having the freedom to "develop domestically" is actually one of the perks of not being in college. I myself have been nursing a secret desire to get a bonsai tree.

I'm happy just to propagate propagate propagate in water. Go go minimal effort! A bonsai would totally be cool, though.

So what have you been cultivating with that green thumb of yours? A kitchen garden, perhaps? (I was thinking that it would go well with your culinary talents, but then I realized that chocolate and caramel aren't ordinarily kitchen garden material.)

heh, nothing useful for the kitchen, actually; just taking some cuttings of my pothos and looking up how to care for the assortment of plants that seems to have accumulated in the house. maybe one day it will be kitchen relatable (mmmm).
