Do you know if farms ever keep some young plants indoors farther into the season so they can replace plants that get destroyed by crazy weather conditions?
Also- anything one can do to help out drenched tomatoes/peppers/eggplant? That covers most of our garden beside the cabbages the rabbits already ate, so I hope we can make sure they survive. I think the rain wasn't as bad here, but not sure.

H.F. Riend, they are not galoshes. They are very sturdy (crazy soled!) boots that my dad bought me. Also, sooo many kinds of tomatoes, I can't remember them all: Big beef, pink lady, trophy, green zebra, green sausage (my favorite, though i don't know what they'll look like!), mortgage lifter
