[He's not even sure he wants to talk to you right now, Sango. Because last week was frustrating and his patience was lost, but most of all, you hurt him. Every time he saw or heard you flirt with someone else? Hurt. Having you crawl into bed with him and try to get into his pants after hearing and seeing those things? Hurt more. Watching you be so apathetic, hearing the way you reacted to Bubbles, his little sister, being gone? Hurt the most. And he can't help but think that if you were Sora, there'd be nothing to forgive.

Ironic how being second best and accepting second best so easily can come back to slap you in the face just as easily. So he keeps it on voice. Because he's not really sure he can see you right now.]

[To the extent that you are really, really lucky he referred to you as his girlfriend when speaking to Kurapica, even if it was just in name and out of respect.

The bar he could have dealt with. Sure, you invited his brother, the person who killed him and the last person he would have expected you to want to be around. Sure, you basically invited Kurapica to have his way with you. Sure, you and Raven made complete idiots of yourselves and he got into a fight with Mirielle defending those actions, and therefore had words with JL, also over those actions. He could have dealt with that.

But Bubbles had been on of the people he loves the most. There were tiers to his affection, and Bubbles had always been at the top <>(Matched only by his loyalty and love for Sora, and his respect and love for Ukitake, and now his understanding and love of you.) He had almost lost his patience at Juliet, a woman who was like a sister to him, someone he would have died to protect.
