Fatty is sick. He's so heart broken it has made him sick. Ever since Weasel died he hasn't been the same, but I thought he'd get over it eventually. It's only been a few weeks now, and he's so upset he's given himself a stress ulcer. He's been refusing to eat and has generally just given up on life, sleeping in his litter waiting to starve to death

Oh no... that's really sad news. I hope he can get over it. If you get another ferret and then leave Canada, can your parents take them both for you? I understand not wanting to take on another pet though when you're planning on leaving.

That really sucks that you lost your job when you need money the most. I hope things turn around for you soon.
