Thanks for sharing the songs; I hadn't heard some of these before.

My sister used to be a big Josh Groban fan so I'm familiar with some of his songs, but I hadn't heard that one.

"Hallelujah" is a really beautiful, melancholy song isn't it? I really like the version that is in the first Shrek movie, and I have an instrumental cover by Chris Botti from his Live in Boston album. Although it doesn't have the lyrics, it is just as haunting.

I really like the general theme of the songs you've chosen; going on a journey, never giving up on your dreams, etc. Sometimes it's hard to keep that in mind through every day life, but I guess one of the great things about music is that it reminds us of those important life lessons.

Thanks for checking out my list!

"Hallelujah" is definitely haunting and beautiful. I don't think I have run across any version of this song that I haven't really liked. I'll have to check out Chris Botti's version. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I guess that theme just sort of happened. But, like you say, sometimes we all need a little music to learn those tough life lessons.
