I totally agree re: Natasha. I love her in this movie, with her dorky 'War Games' joke, and the way she's so emotional over Fury, and how she *knows* she screwed up with Steve on the ship, that he was pissed she was hiding things from him. It's such a wonderful movie all 'round, (omg, Peggy, fuck, that broke my heart, and Steve's faaaaaace.....)

I think i read at Hello, Tailor about how *Sam* was the romantic center/gf role of the movie, and i totally agree on that. http://hellotailor.blogspot.com/ It's a wonderful series of posts about MCU 'verse, the characters, even the costumes.

I love your Falcon icon! And yeah, Natasha was so great in this. I really hope she gets her own movie soon, I find her so interesting!

Sam could totally be the love interest in that story - but then, so could Natasha or Bucky. It was very even-handed that way. I mean, I think they introduced Agent 13 so she could be a romantic interest for Steve later, and I wouldn't have a problem with that, but I'd buy Sam just as easily.

It's still in progress, though it updates every day. The writer has also promised to post it to AO3 when it's finished, so you may want to wait. But I'm enjoying the daily updates, it's fun to follow along.
