I still love Final Fantasy Tactics, but it is too hard. I am so not willing to spend hours leveling characters...ever. Not ever again do I want to be playing a game in any direction but forward. I do NOT want to just level up for the sake of being powerful enough to move on. That is so boring

1) They only die forever if you don't rez them within 3 of thier battle actions. Phoenix down and Life are vital, as is the monk skill that brings people back from the dead.. I recommend having at least two characters with the ability to rez in every party, unless you're nuts

Most people stay dead when they die and in most games we reload when we die. I can't even start to think how many times I've reloaded Silent Hill 0rigins and RE4. Cause when you die, the game is OVER. Punishing you for killing characters is reasonable and fair
