All in all, Tekken 6 is really good. I didn't like the Campaign Mode until I beat it. Now it's ok to farm gold on. Lag isn't great, and the items are absolutely way too expensive, but those are minor to the actual game.
Tekken has had a strange history of releasing new characters. Most of the time, they aren't very good. In fact, on a percentage basis, I don't like most new characters since they come into the game with so few moves comparably.
2 added Jun, which was a great addition. She was amazing. Baek wasn't terrible, but he is so floaty and feels like he's getting away from me as I play. Like I don't have a solid grip on his actions. Lei and Bruce weren't for me, and Roger/Alex and Angel were basically just swaps of King/Kazuya respectively. Less true for R/A, but mostly true.
3 was pretty damn major. Jin and the Ogres were the only characters I really played out of the new lineup though. I dabbled in a little Xiaoyu, and Mokujin made for a fun time with friends
