I hate that Sims 3 doesn't have Half-Walls

I don't know what WHAT the fuck happened with the adventure pack, but I cannot play the fucking game now, on windows. I used to have everything MAXED and it played just fine unless I had, like, a six story house and a ton of people. Now I have everything turned completely down and the game takes over ten minutes to load the outside of a house, completely zoomed in, while paused. I had to go back to the Mac side of my computer to play, which sucks because for some reason Mac clients for games never seem to have anti-aliasing :/

I have everything maxed and I get well over 100 frames per second at 1080p so...Iono?
