So for those of you who haven't heard, I am in the process of getting a dog. I have been since the turning of the year. It turns out that getting a dog is no easy proposition. Especially not if it's a retired racing greyhound. The first rescue organization I contacted was lighter on requirements but very lacking in performance. I eventually gave up

Lee has a greyhound that he got from the resque place for racing doggiieeesss. Angel (his dog) is absolutely the sweetest dog ever... but she is getting a big lazy these days. (I think... she is around 12 now)

Yeah that's a Greyhound's elder years. But yes, they're terribly sweet dogs.
