I'd be willing to lend a hand. I mod a couple of comms and am around most of the week. I do work weekends, but can keep an eye out before and after that.

Just so you know most people do have unmoderated posting access. Since the community membership is small enough, I've been able to check to ensure that current members are legit.

At this point, the only people that I am rejecting (and banning) from joining is anyone who has a suspicious journal: has only joined LJ a day or two ago but has joined several hundred communities.
