Round Five
How would you like to earn two extra skips for the next LIMS round?
nikkiwawa79 and I have been talking and we want to do something different for round five. We want to give everyone an opportunity to not only earn some extra skips but to take a breather from the pressure that can be a LIMS round. So for round five of the competition, we will be doing a Cordelia/Charisma Carpenter Photo Shoot Iconathon.
But Kelly...what the heck is an iconathon? Well, I am glad you asked. Iconathons (also known as rumbles) work on the idea that instead of people being eliminated every week, people who submit earn points and the winner of the end of the round is determined by the person that has the most number of points. So like a LIMS, there is one overall winner but no one is eliminated.
For this round, each participant can submit THREE icons a week. For each icon, you get one point (so up to a total of three). That is three points a week you get just for putting in icons. Then, we vote. For each first place vote, you get five points. Each second place vote, four points. Each third place vote, three points. This works differently than other iconathons and rumbles in that if your icon gets votes, you get points.
The winner is determined as the person who has the highest number of points after 5 challenges. This person will get TWO extra skips in round six of the LIMS. The runner up with get ONE extra skip.
So what do you have to lose? Nothing! So keep an eye out for that first challenge on June 6th! (And always, make sure you pimp it out too!)
