i turned my $500 into $1600 - too bad it was fake money!!! i need to go try out my blackjack skills in vegas! :)
today is my first day back to work, we closed for a week. i didn't want to come in, but the day is going by quick and our new hours take effect today. we'll be closing at 6pm from now on. too bad we didn't close at 6 back when i had control theory practice! it was always a pain trying to go straight from work at 7 to practice at 7:30 or 8 and try to get dinner some where inbetween and relax for 10 minutes or so to myself.
oh boy, oh boy! daniel and i put my new computer together yesterday and got it up and running. IT'S SO FAST! :) my images pop up in a snap! my old computer was ancient, i think it may have been 850 mhz! this is 2.5GB with 768MB of ram! rock! also plugged in the soundcard daniel gave me for christmas, Creative's EMU. i dusted off my keyboard and mixer and set them up...i still have to figure out how to connect my drum machine to the midi thru, never successfully got that working with sonar. i think i'll have to make a song doodle to celebrate! :)
