Note to self: Watching DBSK concert DVDs totally impairs your ability to write. You have a very large fic to finish. Next time, just put in Stargate.

I would think given that (I'm assuming) the subject of the fanfic, it would have provided you with quite a lot of inspiration.

Are you off today? It seems unlikely that you would be writing fic or watching DBSK dvds at work.

*laughs* I wish. Best day at work EVER. But yeah, UNL offices are closed all this week, so I am off all this week. Screw health insurance or other benefits, this week of paid holiday time is the best thing EVER. (For the record, though, on very slow days, I totally write fic at work. And I could take my DVDs and watch them at break/lunch since they don't care if we play DVDs/CDs in our computers, but.)

It would, you'd think, except that I keep getting distracted by watching them, so I'm not writing. Although I've added nigh-on 1000 words in the last three hours, so I can't be doing too bad. Have to finish this one, then post it and the extra I've got finished already and decide if I want to try any others. I've got til Saturday to post fics for points.

ooh, right. All those floating holiday things that people tried to explain to me while I just sort of blinked in confusion? (It's ok. I sometimes wrote fic at work when I was in Japan. Except that, given the norm of what I was writing, it was usually not particularly suited to elementary schools)

I'd say you're doing quite well and should carry on with the DVD watching the entire week! Boys. Boys EVERYWHERE! >.>;

Yup. Well, partly. We have four floating holidays and the other two are Christmas and New Year's. (I try to keep mine at least on the PG-13 end or lower if I'm actively working on it at work. I spend a lot more time playing facebook games than writing, though, so if I'm going to get in trouble for anything...)

*laughs!* Well, that very well might happen. Although I prefer writing at the desktop, so I'm limited to what can play on my regular DVD player instead of the region free one in the living room. Unless I get industrious and haul that one in here instead.
