Picking up a monster

I'm loving the Monster Low Carb energy drink. This product has a wonderfully smooth, refreshing citrus taste without large amounts of sugar, calories and caffeine. It even contains nutrients like Taurine and Ginseng which may be good for you. What a fantastic alternative to old, boring sodas (pop)!

I drink between 6 and 10 12oZ cans of Diet Pepsi every day. It's a refleshing blend of carbonated water, caramel color and phosphoric acid. Ya just can't get enough phosphoric acid these days. The Potassium Benzoate is the cherry on top! I drink it over ice, so I do get some real water in my diet.

Wow, how do you not have an ulcer?! If I drink two cans of that crap my stomach starts to churn, gurgle and knot up.

The nutrition experts say to drink one glass of water for every can of pop just to stay hydrated. If you're feeling sluggish, that could be why.

It may help that i sip it over ice, so at an average it's probably 25% water and not very fizzy. I guess the caffeine is the worst part, but I quit drinking it after work, and switch to straight water from about 4pm on. I don't seem to have any ill effects, and don't feel sluggish - most nights, I play poCker until after midnight, get up at 9am and do it all over again. Obviously, not everyone is affected the same by the same junkthey put into thier bodies. 15 years ago, it was 10 cups of coffee a day at work, which I ultimately switched to 10 cups of half coffee half decaf. At college age, it was mucho Budweiser. I guess I've always drunk massive amounts of garbage at various times in my life. My "best" drink is hot tea with skim milk, but it's too much trouble to make it all the time.
