I had to think for a while to remember where the cent symbol was. ASDFGHJKL;¢. Under the @. The last time I used a keyboard without an [enter] key was in 1986. Ascii meant the demise of the ¢, ½, ¼, and a few other keys, but it also meant that we didn't need to use a lower case "l" for a "1" any more.
Yes, Alpha is amused. I would have done the same thing save for the fact that I don't think stevia is good for any particular purpose. I keep looking at plants, but it's already too late in the season for us. What I have in the ground -- potatoes, the raspberries and asparagus that survived the last javelina attack, the nectarines (if the birds don't get them all) and a bunch of herbs -- are probably all that we'll have this year.
*G* Stevia is just pretty to me. And it's a good sweetener. Makes stuff a little funny-colored, or it can, due to it being a green powder, but it still works. *L* I think it'd be fun to grow a bunch of snips and gift them to people.
*BG* I knew you'd be amused. Oh, and? The tulsi is ~4~ plants, not just one. So I got even more for my money, huzzah. And since Mom's planning a tomato-mozzie-basil salad soon, this could work well. That salad is so much better with fresh basil.
I understand this completely, as you are unsurprised to read. Lol.
And wow, you have some interesting plants in your farmers' market! I've never seen morning glory sold as a plant around these parts. Or stevia. Or wonder berries.
I need to go replace some storm-drowned plants at mine tomorrow. As well as buy some more potting soil and order more pots. I still have to plant a bunch of the ones waiting for pots.
Er. Well, maybe I don't need-need replacement plants, but...I can always use more rosemary, which is stupid-expensive in the supermarket. My rationalization powers with plants are endless.*wry grin*
I haven't ever seen morning glory plants either, as I said. *G* I kind of wish I could've gotten one. I'm completely unfamiliar with wonder berry. The guy said they taste like blueberries and can be used the same way, but aren't as sweet. I have 2 blueberry bushes--no fruit so far this year and due to Florence we wouldn't eat them anyway. Not this year. *soft chuckle* It's too bad I can't send you a stevia plant, if and when I root some sprigs. If you ever get one, it responds beautifully to pruning by creating at lest 2 more stems and growing even more leaves. The one I got has been pruned enough already to be almost a solid column of leaves--gorgeous. Mmrr, I don't have any rosemary or lavender. I love both even though I haven't had much luck with the lavender actually blooming. Mom's not as fond of rosemary as I am, but I adore chicken or oven-roasted potatoes with it.
