tbh, I'm not that surprised? I read that Glitch has problems keeping people playing the game. There are plenty who start playing, but the population dwindles quickly, apparently.
With any free-to-play game, you usually have the small, paying core of the players supporting everybody else, and if you don't have enough of a paying core... :X
I'm not surprised, either. I've always wondered how they were paying for this and thought that they gave us way too much content for free.
I was a little surprised it happened so soon, though. It's been in closed beta for so long, and new players only started being able to join again a short time ago.
I feel the same! I've only been playing for a couple of months and I love it to bits - it's the sort of gentle, easy-going game I could play for years. I would happily have paid to do so, too.
Such a shame. Where can I go to squeeze chickens now???
I AM SO GUTTED. I'm never going to make a crab happy, or finish a necklace, or get a balcony, or get all the badges. I have all this STUFF in my house and now it's just USELESS. I'm a hoarder and my HOARD is going deleted. What the heck am I going to do with all this free time on my hands?
Every once in a while it hits me that I'm never going to get a balcony for my house now. :-( And I rode the subway so many times for a badge I'm never going to get now! Grr.

I mean, not that you yourself don't know what it is. You're not personally responsible for it closing or anything. *g*
(or ARE YOU??)
