I have only had delicious things from one of those places! (Geno's, and it was a half cheesesteak, re-heated *g*) So I can't judge. But it sure was good.

Half a reheated Geno's cheesesteak is exactly what I'm eating right now! It is so good, even reheated. Mmmmm.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha.

We're Geno's in this house. I can't even get Dr. D to cross the street and acknowledge Pat's presence.

Hee! So is this more a taste preference, or an inherited prejudice, or a philosophical stance?

Heh, a little of all factors I suppose.

As Dr. D just said, with Geno's "the meat slides down easier, the onions are better and the rolls are Amaroso's". The rolls are a big factor in the cheesesteak wars around here.

Of course, ask fellow foodies and we all agree that DiNic's Roast Pork is the Philly sandwich that crushes ALL cheesesteaks...

I have only had a "Philly" cheese steak once in my life. It was in the bar at the Port Clinton Hotel.... and I had walked a few hundred miles to get there...

Well, if you'd just walked a few hundred miles for it, that was probably the best tasting cheesesteak in the world, hands down!

I would fund a widespread version of this study...if I could be in it. Nom nom nom.

I think we should apply for some grant money! I smell a journal article (or possibly cheese fries).
