Your editorial was an excellent read, making good points and highlighting open issues in a low-key, reasonable tone.
..."what will happen to the rest of us once a giant like Amazon has a financial interest in controlling our hobby? What happens when they decide they’d make more money if they were the only game in town?" A chilling perspective there at the end, - one that should give any fanfic-lover pause!

That was a really great summation of my concerns with this whole amazon fiasco. I'm honestly very uncomfortable thinking about the ramifications this might have down the track.
