If I croak tomorrow, and someone goes to a psychic & they give all sorts of pablum messages from me 'on the other side' about peace and love and happiness in la-la land, that is an assault on the cantankerous curmudgeon I was. Personally I won't care -- I'll already by worm-food (or, more precisely, I'll be ashes fertilising the woods out back). But it assaults people's memories of me, for good or ill makes no difference. And the same applies to some bunch of idiots dressing up and 'baptising' me as a Mormon. I won't care -- I'll be dead. But to NOT see this as an assault on the memories of me (from those what care to remember I existed at all) is ludicrous.
Almost as ludicrous as the whole religion thing to begin with!
