I'm sorry to hear that drew <3 Keep it up and you'll land something. Talented people always seem to need to work harder than those who are just popular. If I had a dollar for every job I was passed over for, I'd be able to afford my own house. Best of luck.
In my room I have a white board with "projects" "Chores" and daily must dos, such as workout and such...
Today I just finished one of my projects, which was reading a highly recommended book regarding screenwriting (since I'm in the middle of a project. I think it's a rather awesome script. but it need work still).
At the end of said book, the author lists a personal note that says the following...
"Personal success is measured by persistence and determination. The motto of McDonald's Corporation is summed up in their poster called "Press On":
'Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.'
I think I have Thursday off...and maybe Sunday off. I'll double check tomorrow when I get home from work. Naturally, you're always welcome to one of our Friday/Saturday schenanegins...but I think I may be working both evenings this week by happenstance.
Happenstance and I are apparently buddies. We seem to run into each frequently.
