The call had gone out. Most people were still busy but Dante had some free time on his hands.

Grabbing a PDA and a vehicle, he drove out towards the new signal. Newcomers swam with Green Ranger powers for a good portion of their stay, signifying that the teleporter lock was still operational.

Kate, for her part, was still walking. So far she hadn't run into any unfriendlies yet, but that didn't mean that she'd let her guard down.

And of course, the minute that very thought had crossed her mind, Kate found herself surrounded by several Grinders.

Thanks a lot, Mr. Murphy, Kate thought to herself even as she pulled her weapon from her holster and pointed it at the metal...things. "Freeze, NCIS!"

Of course. Thought Dante as he saw the woman being surrounded by Venjix's foot soldiers.

Throwing the jeep into a quick stop, he leaped out, seized one of them and hurled them over the hood with a tremendous shove. "Can't reason with them!" he yelled at Kate. "They're mindless drones!"

Another swung it's weapon at him and he leaned back, avoiding it as he delivered a kick to it's middle and his hands lit up. "TOUCHRAM!"

A tremendous KRA-KOW was heard as magic discharged, blowing it's entire torso off.

"Guess that'll make it easier to do this," Kate replied, partially to herself as she started firing rounds at the Grinders. She half-turned, eyes wide in surprise, as Dante blew one of the robot foot soldiers apart.
