That was when things started to explode.

The Cartels seized the advantage as they boarded the nearest convoy and knocked the drivers out of the trucks.

But that was just the first part of what was coming.

Because blasters opened fire, revealing a unit of robotic grunts aiming for anything remotely human.

They were Hackers, Light Infantry. And they were shooting to kill.

(OOC: Okay, the Light Infantry Hackers are basically the same deal as the Grinders--just a little faster, but the same durability. Go ahead and NPC them as you wish. Heavy Infantry, which might be brought in a little later, will be treated as an Attackbot)

Spider-Man rolled under the blasts, and aimed a sharp kick at the head of one the Hackers, said part going flying off thanks to the force of the blow.

"Man, things just keep going from bad to worse around here."

Kotoha ran forward, slashing at one of the robotic enemies with her shinkenmaru. "Are they with the cartels?" she asked, slashing another Hacker in half. "I didn't think they'd be working with Venjix."

Kamen Rider Sting stood in a battle-ready position with his whip smashing into a couple of the robots, flipping over one of them. "I agree. It doesn't seem like they're part of Venjix's army. Stay sharp."
