Well, gfish and I take very different pictures. I have lots and lots of pictures of the fire, for example, and the way mica in the limestoney-rock glowed much brighter than the stone matrix around it all salamnader-tailed, and the marble-winged butterflies, and very few pictures of crushing ore with hammers. :) So, one could hypothetically demand to see my pictures even though his are up.
gfish mostly photographs for documentary reasons, so that he has a record of what happened. I tend to use the presence of a camera as an excuse to look for pretty or interesting things.
It sounds (and looks, thanks, gfish) like a lot of fun - and a lot of work! Given rock hot enough to melt, if you fired for six hours, how long did you wait for the rock to cool?
If you feel like posting your own pictures, that would be wonderful to see!
Hi! YOu picked the worst possible time to add me; I just moved and won't have internet access for a couple of weeks, except at random intermittant times at other people's houses. :) But welcome, and I hope I live up to expectations. I added you back.
