I don't know what the hell you are going to write about for your six page paper for precalculus, but I figured I would share this interesting tidbit (if you didn't know, yet)...

Precalculus is Latin for "before the counting of pebbles."

Pre - before
Calc/culc- pebbles (can also mean heel, but in this case it is pebbles)
Us - acts as a suffix to make the word complete as a noun

Q: WHY?!
A: For counting purposes, the Romans used pebbles to illustrate many of their numeral concepts. Now, precalculus is supposedly the study of what happened before pebbles were used, but I don't see how that is possible.

haha I'll see if I can incorporate that into my paper..but it's on MathRock (?) which uses math to create beats for songs. Something like that...have you heard of it? It sounded cool and it uses math...so I chose it. Now I actually have to learn about it :/

haha yeah i the final has to be 6-10 pages, and this is a rough draft..he didnt say how long, so ill do like 5 pages i guess. *shrug*
