That's hysterically funny.
We're the number one university in Canada and ranked 17th world wide... And this... A flooding...
I'm only sad that I wasn't able to bear witness to see the water gushing down the street like a torrental river and have an Indiana Jones moment trying to outrun the water as it came crashing down.
Though mostly if I had been there, I'd have a WTF?! face look on and thinking "OMG! HOW DO I CROSS THIS?! I CAN'T CROSS THIS BECAUSE IT'S 30 CENTIMETERS DEEP!!"
Fortunately (or unfortunately) for me, at the time when the water main broke at 5:45PM, I was happily nestled at work high up on the seventh floor away from all the chaos :3
Some classes in the Wilson Hall were relocated today to another area due to the building being flooded. Once again, I wasn't affected as I don't have class on Fridays and work on Fridays in a building that's five blocks away from the flooding~
I'm hoping, by Monday, McTavish street will be fine again as I still need to purchase some books... And all the university school books and course packs are located in the BASEMENT of the bookstore... So I hope the books haven't been affected by this...
