I am always fascinated by interkingdom anthropology.

Here in Æthelmearc we have the following:

AoA level:

Order of the Keystone - service
Order of the Sycamore - A&S
Order of the Golden Alce - anything related to martial activity (heavy, rapier, archery, equestrian, thrown weapons, siege, marshal)

GoA level:

Order of the Millrind - service to the KingdomOrder of the Fleur d'Æthelmearc - A&S

Numbers don't lie, and you have done the homework. Three general classifications of service, arts and combat are enough. Inflation of their value is more easily controlled, and emphasizes the equality of the orders. Specially created awards often languish in obscurity and disuse... But they engender Seperatism, and we have enough of that already.
