Goodbye to media

Dead-tree newspaperWe have been subscribers to one or another (and sometimes more than one) dead-tree newspaper since I've been married. There have been some small lapses in service, but it's been more or less continuous for a decade and a half. i sometimes didn't have overlap between renewing my paid status--- and so i know they still keep your files after your paid status has expired

if you change your mind a year is about $10.

also, did ya hear about how fox wants more payment for their broadcasting signals now from time warner? i just remember time warner being like, we don't want to pay more because then we would have to pass off the cost to our cable tv customers...

... wellllll fox and time warner both are huge companies... i wonder how this will play out

just today i was thinking about how i get my news online and that the usa today newspaper is the closest i get to an old fashioned newspaper--especially since most local newspapers are getting thinner with more ads and to their detriment- have less "local news" which is a huge disappointment to me[omg this run on is a disappointment too but i'm too lazy ( ... )
