As my class in Kant took its course through the "Ideal of Pure Reason", the third and final chapter of the second book of the Transcendental Dialectic in Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, I was once again catapulted into the subspace of Metaphysics concerning God. This is great stuff Jack and wonderfully written!

In a related matter, I was reading through Frank Herbert's Children of Dune recently, and I came across the following quote:

"All proofs inevitably lead to propositions which have no proof! All things are known because we want to believe in them." - Frank Herbert, Children of Dune

I will delay comment on this quote, but I found it quite profound.
