Going up to the Astronomy Tower with Mandy and Lisa helped a lot. I think a lot of the problem is that we're living together in the same few rooms for so long, that if someone is depressed or angry or so forth, soon we all become like that. Not that I'm saying that people don't have a right to be that way, but that sometimes it's better to leave ( Read more... )

Talking in front of a group isn't that bad. You just have to imagine them in some funny way, like with silly hats.

And I don't know, I rather like our topic. Practical application of them makes my head spin.

I'm trying to, but considering who's in our class, I doubt that would help a great deal.

Oh, I like our topic! It's just that you hear bits and pieces of what others are doing, and it sounds really interesting.

Oh. Fair enough.

I wish I could understand what half of them were reading and talking about. Zacharias' assignment is indecipherable to most human beings, which is bad for Potter and will be horrid for the rest of the class when he presents.

I've seen Terry in enough funny outfits for it to just be commonplace and everyone else is just so not-appropriate-for-funny-outfits. It's a good idea, but I doubt it'd work.

I know -- which is possibly why I find it so interesting. I suppose if I actually could hear what they were talking about in more detail, it would be less interesting.

I'll help you practice talking in front of people if you like. I heard that picturing your audience naked helps. Maybe I'll sit there naked while you practice presenting it. It wouldn't hurt to try.

I'm not really sure if I should apologise or not, but I'm more sure that I don't have to than otherwise. It's good that you've all found a nice place to go though.

Why should you apologise?

I don't really know. Maybe because I've been sad, and you mentioned that you were getting away from depressed people, and I don't think I've been depressed, exactly, but I've certainly been sad. I didn't mean to push people away from the Eyrie.

No, no, it's fine, Aura. Lisa, Mandy and I just went up there to clear our heads. We weren't chased or anything. We chose to go -- maybe you should too, that is, if you want to.
