Thanks for the links here - I looked at the one about battle mistakes, 'twas very interesting.

Do you by any chance know (sorry if I missed it) of a decent writers' resource that covers combat injuries and what to do about them. (Old-style stuff, swords and battleaxes, not guns) I want to keep it realistic (drives me nuts when somebody gets a stomach injury or something and is perfectly fine two hours later...)

I'm currently writing an (original, not fan) story where my characters are defending a village and receive various injuries. Websites are giving me conflicting advice, if they give any advice at all. (Yes, thank you website, I'm aware I should call a doctor but there aren't any on my backwards village in the middle of nowhere! Not helpful.)
