Since I'm now mainly at Dreamwidth (and other places), and I don't expect to be here very much at all from now on, I've had a big purge of anyone on my reading list who I mainly keep in touch with in other ways. This is just a quick post to explain that. It's purely because I don't come here anymore

Did I tell you I'm looking into doing a Sociology PhD? Given that results from my Master's in Disability Studies (based in a dept of Sociology and Social Policy) have been pretty good, and my professors have been encouraging this - evil people. Am excited. And terrified that there's no funding available in a recession. But excited nonetheless. Academia=terrifying rollercoaster.
