There are fan-run websites which list plagiarists, but I am not sure how to look for them. I used to have them bookmarked on the other computer.

OPbviously, I want to contact the chick with details of which cuts came from which vids and ask her to stop and remove the plagiarised vids from circulation, but there's no way I can actually force her to do that. In the meantime, she'c getting credit for *my* work AND making money on it.

"Dangerous Game" is the title of it, by 3 Doors Down. And most cuts are from my Michelle Featherstone's "Stay" but I recognized a couple from other vids. I mean, I'm sitting here, both vids open in Adobe, and comparing cuts, and they're identical, a couple seconds sliced off at the beginning and/or end of the sequence where I used fade in/out, basically done to remove the fades where she doesn't need them.

I wish I could link to that vid, but as I said, I found it on my flist somewhere and I don't remember in whose journal (and of course I completely don't blame the clueless soul who linked the vid).

See, that's just bullshit. There's nothing worse than spending your time painstakingly creating something like that, only to have someone pilfer it and take credit for it. What a crock. And being PAID for it into the bargain! Personally, I think bringing out the guns is a great idea! ;-)
