heyy; I saw the comment you left on libba bray's site.. what's an advance readers copy? Lol I'm really curious because I am like obsessed with A Great and Terrible Beauty and I am driving myself crazy waiting for the next one!!
It is like a copy of the book when it has been edited and revised and ready for publication, but still being checked over for any final adjustments and things. Its paperback, not hardcover and says "advance readers copy-not for sale" on the front. I have one because somebody at a library in my town is friends with the publisher, and she got sent copies. I belong to a group there, so my friend and I got to borrow them and read them! :-)

My name is Chase and I was looking around LJ for some people who share my interest in Harry Potter. It looks like you are on LJ quite a bit so I thought you might be interested in this pretty nifty community I joined just last week.
It's basically a community for those Harry Potter fans who are really enthused about the whole house system and things of that nature. Once sorted into a house you can take part in conversation in your house's commonroom, you can talk to people from other houses, role play, basically tons of pretty neat stuff. Making house points is always fun too...you can do this by making cool graphics stuff (icons and sig tags) writing essays in essay contests, trivia, all sorts of things!
