What happens when everyone is taken and there's no one left to offer company? It seems lots of people are vanishing and being taken to mysterious places, so I can't help but wonder what happens when we are all alone in this world. Would that be such a terrible thing ( Read more... )

I'm sorry your grandmother is sick, Cornelia. I think that it would be permissible if you checked on your neighbour's dog.

You should save the dog to make snowdogs with. If he's alone, he probably would like some company! And if she comes back, you can tell her you took care of it for her.

Also, I hope your grandmother will be all right.

I may climb in the window. It was left open, which does not make too much sense. The dog may be chilly. And if she does not come back, perhaps I will keep the dog.
