They do. It sucks, but it's only for a day--then your powers get all wacky, which isn't so bad, if you ask me.

As soon as I am done with it. Sorry it's taking a while, Sho. Perhaps by the end of the week?

I've been waiting for quite some time, radian. My patience has decreased to near zero. I will have it back by 16/08 at 00:00 hours whether you've subtracted it or not.

That's something that would need to be considered with time, given the sort of threats you were heard to make and the fact that you admitted that regardless of everything, you would do whatever it is you wanted to do, despite the law.

Not only that, but this is not the way to apply. A mistake was made, but rudely calling me out on that fact doesn't get anybody anywhere. I was not blindly convinced that there was no reason for anyone to dislike or be hostile towards Kadaj, it's not something that I "now understand". I foolishly believed that I could handle any issues he could have caused- or almost caused- because I put my guard down, thinking that compared to handling other things, keeping him in check would be nothing. I overestimated myself and myself and others paid for it. I'm doing my best to make up for that.

That said, I see it isn't your intention to cause any sort of trouble or conflict between you and I. You seem to just have a strange point of view... It's simply a matter of... tact. I see you're only inquiring.

In regards to Kadaj, yes. It was easy to see how unstable he was.

Emotions often get in the way of things, like I said. My duty is to protect those of the Royal family, those closest to me, I acted out on threats to make it known that nothing would stop me to keep them safe. I am no fool, I know what the law is, being an officer, a knight of rounds, or even a personal guard is all the same. I apologize for having been rude, I simply didn't understand why you could not see what Kadaj was doing.

If anything, mending things and working together to save people seems like a priority in my nature.

I'm not aware if you heard the conversation I was having with your friend at the time, but there is something Kadaj seems very fond of doing, and that's goading people on when he feels he's being challenged, or picks up on the sort of issues or fears people have concerning him ( ... )

I noticed XD coronachs August 15 2009, 00:25:18 UTC
I must admit, it reminds me a lot of the behavior of soldiers I worked with. I despised it to no end, and seeing it again made me re-live a tinge of uncontrolled anger. We do not know him as well as you do, therefore sensed a threat.

No, sir. When I make a threat, I stand by it. I would do anything necessary to protect Euphemia, Lelouch, and Nunnally. However, I don't make threats so flippantly. You just have to push the right buttons for me to snap. Contrary to things you've seen, I am rather calm and prefer to issue things in the most professional manner possible.

I believe trust is something important, and to know me, you would understand why I said what I said. I do not take matters that far unless I judge it needs to, and trust me, my sense of judgment has never failed me.

Yes. I am prepared to face any objections your officers may have, and will not let personal dislikes affect my work.

What exactly is defined as 'classy' to you?

nomakothx August 14 2009, 21:01:34 UTC
It was sarcasm, genius. You know, like, "nice job insulting the judgement of the guy who works his ass off to lead the police, and then putting down everyone who has and is working for said police by calling it an 'interesting hobby,' like everyone should be so thankful for your ability to rise above any issues you might've had in the past and welcome you on board."

Like I said. Classy.

The "interesting hobby" part I admit may have come out crude, however it didn't sound like that initially. I apologize if it sounded insulting and condescending.

Yet, was his judgment of this Kadaj character not off judging by the officer's rogue outbreak?
