End of an era?

I used to have this old fashioned blog on Pitas.com. It's where I started my first blog back in 2001 and I've kept on using it ever since. Pitas was a very basic blogging tool, it didn't offer any extras. It had no comment system, no communities, no ads. Though pretty stagnant, it was also quite reliable. I remember your Pitas blog. Sorry to hear it vanished. Was there no warning at all?

No warning whatsoever!

I'm glad you're still here. I checked your LJ in the original style (I always force my own style on LJs, because otherwise it's sometimes unreadable) and I liked it a lot!

And you do know that LJ does have a backup-feature, don't you? LJArchive is pretty cool (for a Windows program)!

Thanks :D My layouts don't have that LJ feel, I guess since I'm used to a more old fashioned blog type layout. It's a bit busy illustration-wise, but atleast I don't have really tiny font ^^ It's the first time I used divs in a layout and I had a lot of fun with the CSS layering methods and png transparency. I was surprised that it all works as it's supposed to in the 4 major browsers! My old table based layouts never really agreed so much.

I should start and use this LJarchive, you never know what could happen D:
