I ran out and grabbed a burger and fries for lunch today.  mmmm what a nice day.  The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it's 50 glorious degrees out there.   This time last year it was 66°, but I'm not complaining about a measly 16°.  I know it's coming.  The animals are all getting restless, me included.  We can all feel it.  I glanced ( Read more... )

Eagles! Wow! You are SO lucky to see those regularly.

I see red kites every day, over my house. They used to be rare in this country, but now they're pretty common in parts of Wales and Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire. It's still thrilling to see them soaring overhead though.

Way cool! I have some hawks that I like, but they stay high in the air usually. Last year, there were a couple of young ones that were making an incredible noise and flying lower though.

Won't be long before the flowers are popping. They seem very late this year. Not even the crocuses are peeping thru yet.

anytime you can see something so rare, especially coming out of extinction, it's a lucky thing, whether it's an eagle or a redkite.

Sometimes you just can't ask. Just stop and enjoy.

It got up to 56 here, and I was just loving it; well except for the muddy yard I have, but that'll pass.

I get annoyed when I can't get the dear crossing the street on my way to work or worse yet when they are standing in the middle of my road when I'm about to pull in my driveway. They just don't want to wait around for me to get my camera out.

Wow - where's your camera when all these eagles are flying over you?

Yes, you are lucky if you see eagles. I live in Colorado, and while we have eagles here, I don't believe I've seen one except from way far away.
