Yesterday, my mom vented to me about my dad not working, and how much it irritates her. She didnt' want to talk to me about it because she knows it stresses me out, but she has noone else to talk to about it. I really don't mind if she does come to me about it, because I'd be stressing over it anyway. She said that, as far as my grad school future ( Read more... )

razzamatazz... theres a tyep of stockings here called razzamatazz and all their ads making out that these stockings make your life so cheeky. Ive always thought they should buy Razzamatazz because it fits perfectly...well that one line. but yes if anyone things their tan coloured stockings would make their live perfect then the rest of the song is for them too.

I didn't realize so many people have used the word "razzmatazz" as a marketing strategy!

I approve of your choices. I may have thrown "Something Changed" in there however. I just find it very touching.

i used to really really dislike Something Changed, but now its starting to grow on me. Its still my least favorite song on Different Class, though. I guess I have a grudge against it because so many other songs on the album could've made for better singles.

It's understandable. There are just so many good songs on that album.

HAHAHA, I was honestly expecting more comments like this! After I posted, I thought, "God, making a list like that was almost impossible." Like, I made Manics ones before, but they were nowhere near as trying. Gah, I think coming up with an overall Pulp top ten list would most likely kill me!!!!

Of the ones you're calling into question, I wanted to put "Sheffield: Sex City" on the most, but even though its a GR8 song, the title didn't live up to the song for me. .

Didn't my Razzmacats icon make up for it though? And this one? Even though it makes no sense? Piercing Stare OTP! So terrifying...

I hope Sheffield proves to be sexier than you even imagine it to be!!!!! I really, really do!!!

I guess it should really be "Razzmacatz..." I'm glad my piercing stare icon is appreciated!!!!! I originally wanted to make an "O RLY?" icon, with both of them saying either "O RLY" or "YA RLY," but i didn't think it would work.

Ahh, Pulp! Those are great choices; I especially love Countdown & Razzmatazz in the first section; and I Spy & Babies in the second :).

I actually think I Spy is way under-rated. It's one of their finest moments IMHO, & it often doesn't get a mention as much as it should. I'm disappointed that you didn't mention Disco 2000 though ;).

I think I Spy is pretty underrated as well. I was very upset with myself for not including Disco 2000 on the list. I really do love it though!!

Also, "Countdown" is the first song that made me realize that my ex-boyfriend was totally wrong when he said any pre-His 'n' Hers Pulp material wasn't worth listening to.
