I just couldn't handle a realtionship. And it wouldn't have been fair to him if I didn't put 100% into it. What with school, and I felt like I would crack.

I also don't see how you can say that and then say are you destined to be single? If you can't handle school and your boyfriend, can you ever handle a job and a boyfriend?
I just don't see how having a boyfriend relates to your school work. >.> <.
