this is my first time attempting this. i actually didn't know it existed until anastoff told me about it tonight. so i read about it and figured, why the hell not? i'm a good writer and it would probably help me with all the stuff going on in my life

Ooooh, that looks really intriguing! I don't understand what exactly you have to write though? LOL. :x Either way, writing is always a great way to consume time and to get those feelings out. Best wishes! :D

yea, i'm not exactly sure either. i guess there are like themes that you have to write about? but, that's all i got out of it. LOL. but, it seems interesting enough to do. and like i said, the closest i'm going to get to doing idol. haha.

I thought I could answer your question, if you don't mind?

You get themes. Some are pretty open, others are a bit odd, but in general you can write whatever you want. Just write what motivates you from that theme. People write a mix of fiction, non-fiction and even poetry, among comics and other things that inspire them.

It really is all about what *you* want to write.

And the twists and turns is what makes it different than just another writing contest. Gary always has so much fun, suspense and sometimes downright scary stuff planned. But I really had so much fun, I couldn't imagine not coming back again this year. LOVE it! It's like crack.

i wasn't sure if it was supposed to be just non-fiction or what. i like the fact that we can do fiction as well, since i tend to write fiction most of the time.
