Psst, the entry topic was deconstruction, not destruction...

That being said, when I read the warning and saw the poem, I was like, ehhh, poem about abuse? So this happily far exceeded my expectations! It has this sort of quiet, creeping quality to it that I really like, and that is a great counterpoint to the violence of the actual story.

For me, it fit the topic just fine.

Especially if you go for the "deconstruct" without the "ion"...;) To take apart or dismantle. Yep...perfectly aligned.

Meanwhile, I did enjoy your comparisons. It was quite sad without being overly so...if that makes any sense.
