i remember hearing about you all summer last year, and then meeting you for the first time when i was sitting on the arts steps with naomi and you were returning from a hebrew literature class and i was mightily impressed. also, just generally admiring your social skills and hair on a regular basis.

i remember thinking of how i loved your hair, and how awesome you looked in that red bathing suit you were getting painted in. i remember swims at a cottage and talking about how obese rebecca romain really ISNT.

well, it's the same moment, because we seem to have only had one together. but you pulling up with dan c., and you being such a mystery...mostly what's stuck with me is talking with you about your scarification, and your lengthy description of how you did it and me thinking you were so tufffff.

It was in ancient civ back in high school, i think. You, me, and Emily Labarge were all sitting together, and i cracked my neck at the same time as one of you, but dammit, i can't remember which one was cracking...i think it was emily, but anyway, we were on either side of the non-cracker, who totally freaked out, and it was awesome. Also, that time i was dying my hair at Levine's, and you showed up with Ben, who kept trying to make me do stuff, claiming it would be "the punkest shit ever."

seeing you outside of la casa when i was lonely in montreal and how happy i was to realize that, goddamnit, i know people! amazing. also, us going back the the clark house and eating yam fries and pie and you and selena and i talking about books.
