This is a selection from an entry in some of the notes I made for The Story earlier today; feedback is welcome, if not rabid fanboy/girlism. Let's see if I can read my own notes:

"But let's take a more relevant central hero: Aragorn. What made Aragorn interesting? The answer, I think, is twofold:

1) Aragorn wasn't a main hero; Sam and Frodo

I love LOTR, although not QUITE as much as Amelia, Mel, and probably you. ;-) I have yet to read the books, and see the last movie. However, the overall ideas of the books were...amazing. Tolkien was genious.

By the way, I'm Leanne. Just happened to hop over to your website today, and we have quite a few friends in common, so I thought I'd extend a hello and a hand of friendship. :-) It's nice to meet you--hope you're enjoying your summer so far.
