There are some disgusting attitudes out there, right under my nose, in a "creative" environment and its pissing me off. I am filled with disenchantment. The art program here is harboring some terribly negative and constrictive perspectives that are completely discouraging. Maybe I'm easily discouraged, actually I am constantly battling with my self

my mom is in town so I am not sure if I can hang out friday as I originally thought plus i am way way behind on my drawing class homework, could we hang out saturday afternoon.

people at csf were vicious too... well, to me they were. remember my plaster caster phase? i worked for a month solid on that piece and they trashed it as if it were a gum wrapper. critiques are stupid, i've always thought so. if you listen toand change for what other people say, you're considered a sell out, and if you don't, you're a self loving prick. fuck it all. do what you want. i can't wait to see your self portrait.
