Game of Thrones Season 2 April Fool's
Because the second season begins on April Fool's day, I think the showrunners should take advantage of the fortuitous timing and do a little something like this for the beginning of 2x01:

Fade in: Winterfell. Midday.
Ned and Catelyn Stark, arms linked, watch fondly as Rickon and Bran run and play with their direwolves. Theon and Robb grin at each other about some private joke between them, and Jon Snow ruffles Arya's hair as she runs by with Nymeria. Sansa follows behind her with Lady, only mildly annoyed at her sister.
Fade out.
Fade in: The Throne Room in King's Landing. Midday.
Joffrey sits on the throne, listening to his mother's advice. He thinks for a while, pouts a little, and then nods in agreement. Jaime stands behind Cersei's chair, resplendent in his white cloak, one hand protectively on her shoulder. Myrcella and Tommen are playing with a couple of kittens.
Fade out.
Fade in: The Dothraki Khalasar on the March. Midday
Daenerys rides on her white mare with a baby cradled in her arms. Drogo brings his horse up alongside her and smiles down at his son. Three dragons, green, cream, and black, perch on Dany's shoulders or curl around her waist.
The screen dissolves into fire and then goes black.
In the GoT font, the words, "APRIL FOOL'S, BITCHES!" appear.
Fade in: Dragonstone.
We hear Patchface humming a little madly...
