D&D Alignments of Selected ASoIaF Characters as of the End of ACoK

I came up with these very quickly, so I'm willing (in fact, eager) to hear what other people think about these, and about characters who aren't on the list yet.

There are most likely some spoilers here... )

Tywin Lannister: Lawful Evil. Considering yourself evil is not a prerequisite for actually being evil.

Gregor Clegane: Chaotic Evil - Tywin is just really, really good at keeping him in check.

I'm conflicted about Melisandre and Jaqen H'ghar. They both rigidly, rigorously follow their own code, one which is pretty clearly not good. But I don't know enough about the Red God to know if this is neutral or evil yet.

On the grounds that alignment is traditionally assigned based on actions rather than intentions, I would call Theon Neutral Evil, since he ultimately behaves however he thinks will accomplish his selfish goals, no matter how badly he feels about it afterward. Too random to be lawful, too concerned with entitlements to be chaotic.

Jon Snow: Laaaaaaawful Good. Holy crap is this kid lawful. Even when he breaks his vows, it's for the higher law of loyalty.

Cersei Lannister: Neutral Evil.

Arya Stark: Neutral.

Lancel Lannister: Lawful Horny Lawful Good.

Drogon: Neutral Hungry.

Re: Tywin - I had him on there as Neutral Evil at one point, but I couldn't decide if he was Neutral or Lawful, so he didn't make my final cut. (The evil was never in question...)

Re: Jaqen and Melisandre - I see your point there. I kept having to ask myself, "Lawful/Chaotic according to WHOM?" And I decided that since Jaqen's actions cause a lot of chaos... he got to be Chaotic, and he got to be neutral because the results of those chaotic actions could go either way. <-- Did that make any sense? I'm a bit sniffly at the moment ( ... )
