I'm eating a sandwich from Subway, and instead of chips, I stopped at the grocery store and got a peach! Score one for Corrie trying to be proactive about her health!

I'm reading this article (I'm always reading an article, it seems...) about how international travelers, not just Americans, seek out McDonald's restaurants when they're traveling. The author of the article said that even though he doesn't like fast food, he'll always goes to a McDonald's in a foreign country because of its ABSENCE of culture. ( Read more... )

My cousin's sister is coming soon to pick me up. We're driving to San Jose for my cousin's impromptu wedding. So romantic... Should be fun!

I talked to Ruby tonight, and I was talking about myself, as I tend to do, and I was trying to articulate how I'm suddenly comfortable with my role in the world, and I think I said it better than I've ever said it:
